The Graduate Chorale
The GRADUATE CHORALE (changed voices up to age 18 / college) was formed in 2002 to offer continuing choral training and performance experience for choristers whose voices have changed from the treble range. Historically, Graduate Chorale members sing with the Concert Chorus on a variety of occasions including the SFBC’s Spring and Winter Concerts, and summer tour. The Chorale is currently experiencing a period of growth and development, and 2011-2012 will see members performing their own repertoire as a standalone chorus.
Membership is subject to audition and open to graduated Concert choristers and qualified “outside” singers with a maximum age of 18 years. From time to time and when required by repertoire needs, the Graduate Chorale is augmented by the SFBC’s Men’s Chorus to enhance the mixed chorus sound.
The Graduate Chorale meets once a week in San Francisco, 5:30-7:00pm
